The Greatest Reunion in the Clouds!
Welcome, Faith Force Cloud Meeters! Today, we’re learning about the most amazing reunion day when we’ll meet Jesus in the clouds, as shared in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
Verse Of The Day:
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Can you imagine the most exciting family reunion ever – but this one happens in the clouds with Jesus Himself? That’s exactly what these verses promise!
First, Jesus “will come down from heaven” with incredible fanfare – a loud command, an archangel’s voice, and God’s own trumpet call! This won’t be a quiet arrival; everyone will know Jesus has returned! Then comes the most amazing part: we’ll be “caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”
Picture this incredible moment – floating up through the clouds for the ultimate reunion with Jesus! And the best news of all? “We will be with the Lord forever.” This isn’t just a quick meeting; it’s the beginning of eternal life together with Jesus. What an absolutely amazing day that will be!
Meeting Jesus in the Clouds Scene:
Take a paper plate and cover it with fluffy white cotton balls to create your cloud scene. Place small toy figures or draw stick figures on paper cutouts among the cotton ball clouds, showing people meeting Jesus in the sky. Add a small figure representing Jesus in the center. Every time you look at your cloud scene, remember that one day you’ll have the most amazing reunion ever – meeting Jesus in the clouds!

Dear Jesus, thank You for the amazing promise that one day we'll meet You in the clouds! Help us look forward to that incredible reunion day when we'll be caught up to be with You forever. When we see clouds in the sky, remind us of Your wonderful promise. Fill our hearts with excitement for the greatest meeting ever! Amen.
