"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." (Joshua 1:8)

In Joshua 1:8, God tells us to keep His Word close—to read it, think about it, and let it guide our choices. When we do this, God promises that we’ll be blessed with strength and success.
Meditating on God’s Word means reading it and thinking about what it means for our lives. It’s not just something we do on Sundays, but every day. When we follow what God says in the Bible, we’re choosing the path that leads to peace, wisdom, and happiness. Just like a plant needs sunlight to grow, our hearts need God’s Word to stay strong and healthy.

Along the path, write words like “Meditate,” “Obey,” “Trust,” and “Follow.” Decorate the map with symbols like stars or footprints, leading to a heart at the end. Hang it up as a reminder to keep God’s Word in your heart every day. This craft helps kids see that following God’s Word is like following a map to the treasures of strength and joy.
