Imagine giving someone a gift with a big smile, knowing it will make them happy. That’s the kind of giving God loves! 2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds us that when we give with joy from our hearts, it pleases God. It’s not about how much we give, but the love and cheerfulness behind it.
God doesn’t want us to feel forced to give or to give with a grumpy attitude. He wants us to share because we want to, because we care, and because we know that giving shows His love to others. When we give cheerfully—whether it’s time, help, or things we have—we reflect God’s generous heart.
