God’s Love Shown: Jesus’ Sacrifice for Us
Verse Of The Day:
"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." (1 John 4:9-10)
Imagine receiving the most precious gift from someone who loves you completely. That’s what God did for us! He sent Jesus, His only Son, to take away our sins so we could live with Him forever. This wasn’t because of anything we did—it was all because of God’s love for us.
God’s love is so big and perfect that it reaches everyone, no matter who they are or what they’ve done. Jesus’ sacrifice shows us what true love looks like—giving everything for the sake of others. Let’s live in this love every day, sharing it with everyone we meet.
Heart of Love Craft:
Draw a large heart and write “God Loved Us First” in the center. Around the heart, write or draw ways to show God’s love, like “Be Kind,” “Forgive,” or “Help.” Decorate it with bright colors and symbols of love.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for showing us Your love by sending Jesus to be our Savior. Help us to live in Your love every day and to share it with others. Teach us to follow Jesus’ example of kindness and sacrifice. Amen.
