Imagine someone giving up everything for you, even their life—that’s what Jesus did. 1 John 3:16 shows us the ultimate example of love: Jesus laying down His life for us. This incredible sacrifice is the very definition of what love looks like.
Jesus calls us to follow His example by putting others first. Loving like this means helping others, being selfless, and showing kindness, even when it’s hard. While we might not lay down our lives literally, we can give our time, energy, and care to reflect Jesus’ love to others.
Let’s live out this love every day, showing the world the depth of God’s care through our actions. By loving others selflessly, we share the heart of Jesus with everyone we meet.

Draw a large heart and write “Jesus’ Love” in the center. Around the heart, write ways to love sacrificially, like “Help a Friend,” “Share,” and “Be Patient.” Decorate the heart with bright colors and hang it up as a reminder of Jesus’ ultimate love.
