Walking in the Light: Living in God’s Forgiveness
Verse Of The Day:
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:7-9)
Imagine walking on a path lit by a bright lantern that shows you the way. That’s what it’s like when we walk in God’s light! 1 John 1:7-9 reminds us that when we stay close to God, we can have fellowship with one another and live in the joy of His forgiveness.
Walking in the light means living truthfully, honestly, and choosing what’s right even when it’s hard. It also means confessing our mistakes to God and trusting Him to forgive us. His forgiveness is a gift that cleanses us from all sin and helps us start fresh each day. Through Jesus, we are made clean and pure, able to walk boldly in His love.
Let’s stay on the path of light, sharing God’s love with others and trusting His faithfulness to forgive us. Together, we can reflect His light to everyone around us!

Create a path on paper or cardboard, writing “Walk in the Light” along the top. Add lanterns or footprints with words like “Truth,” “Forgiveness,” and “Fellowship.” Decorate the path with bright colors and display it as a reminder to walk in God’s light daily.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for calling us to walk in Your light. Help us to live truthfully, confess our sins, and trust in Your forgiveness. Teach us to share Your light with others and stay close to You every day. Amen.
