Victory Is Already Yours!
Imagine winning a championship before the game even starts – that sounds impossible, right? But that is exactly the kind of victory God has given us through Jesus. The best part? It is a gift! This mission explores 1 Corinthians 15:57.
What Does 1 Corinthians 15:57 Mean?
In the verses just before this one, Paul was talking about something really hard: death. But then he says, “Thanks be to God!” Because through Jesus rising from the dead, God won the ultimate victory – over sin, over death, over everything that tries to pull us down. And He gives that victory to us. We do not earn it; it is a gift from God through Jesus.

Write “VICTORY” somewhere you will see it every morning this week – on a sticky note, your mirror, or your notebook. Each time you see it, say this out loud: “God gives me the victory through Jesus Christ!” Notice how starting your day with that truth changes how you feel.
Did You Know?
When Paul wrote “thanks be to God,” it was an expression of pure joy – like shouting after your team wins the big game. Paul wrote this letter while he was in prison, yet he was overflowing with thankfulness. That is what knowing Jesus’s victory does to a person!
