Mission Briefing
God Always Makes a Way Out
Has something ever felt so hard that you thought you’d never get through it? Here’s the most amazing news – God promises He will always give you a way through every tough moment!
What Does This Mean?
Everyone faces temptations – those moments when we’re pulled to do something wrong or make a bad choice. God’s Word promises us that we’re never alone in those moments, and the test will never be bigger than we can handle with His help. Even better, God always provides a way out – a path that leads us away from the wrong choice and toward the right one. We just need to look for it and take it!
Hero Challenge
The next time you feel pulled to do something you know is wrong – maybe lying, being mean, or giving up – pause for five seconds and ask God to show you the way out. Then look for it: maybe it’s walking away, telling the truth, or asking an adult for help. Practice finding the exit!
Did You Know?
Paul wrote 1 Corinthians to a church in ancient Corinth, Greece – a city famous for being full of temptations and distractions. The people there really needed this reminder! Paul wanted them to know that God’s faithfulness is stronger than any temptation they’d ever face. The same is true for us today.
Ages 4-6: Little Hero Question
When you feel like doing something wrong, who can you ask for help? Can you ask God and a grown-up you trust?
Ages 7-9: Growing Hero Question
God promises a “way of escape” from temptation. What do you think that looks like in real life? Can you think of an example?
Ages 10-13: Champion Question
This verse says no temptation is unique to you – everyone deals with hard things. How does knowing that change the way you feel when you struggle? How can you help a friend find their “way of escape”?
