Mission Briefing
Spread the Word – God Is Glorious!
Have you ever seen something so amazing – a breathtaking sunset, a cool animal, an incredible act of kindness – that you just had to tell everyone about it? That is the feeling behind this verse! God has done so many marvelous things that we cannot help but want to shout it from the rooftops. This mission explores 1 Chronicles 16:24.
What Does 1 Chronicles 16:24 Mean?
“Declare” means to announce boldly and clearly. “Glory” means the awesome, magnificent greatness of who God is. “Nations” and “peoples” means this message is for everyone everywhere – not just people who already believe, but all people. God’s marvelous works include creation, miracles, answered prayers, and most of all, sending Jesus. We have something worth announcing to the entire world!
Hero Challenge
This week, share one of God’s amazing works with someone outside your family. It could be a friend, a classmate, or even a neighbor. Tell them something wonderful God has done – in the Bible, in history, or even in your own life. You are declaring His glory when you do!
Did You Know?
This verse comes from a psalm that King David composed for the very special day when the Ark of the Covenant was finally brought into Jerusalem. It was one of the most joyful celebrations in all of Israel’s history. David wanted the whole world to know about the God who had been so faithful to His people. His joy was too big to keep to himself!

God, Your glory is too amazing to keep to myself! Give me the words and the courage to declare what You have done to the people around me. Help me to be someone who spreads the news of Your greatness everywhere I go. Amen.
