Philippians 2:5
Like Jesus: Thinking and Acting with a Heart of Humility
Verse Of The Day:
"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus." (Philippians 2:5)
Imagine having the chance to follow the example of the greatest person who ever lived—Jesus! In Philippians 2:5, we’re reminded that we should have the same mindset, or attitude, as Jesus did. But what does that mean? It means thinking and acting with humility, love, and kindness, just like Jesus did when He was on Earth.
Jesus always put others first. He didn’t act like He was better than anyone else, even though He is the Son of God! He served others, showed compassion, and helped people in need. When we follow His example, we can make a big difference in the lives of those around us.
Being like Jesus means thinking of others, being patient, and choosing kindness. It means putting others before ourselves, not just when it’s easy, but even when it’s hard. With Jesus as our guide, we can live in a way that makes God proud and helps others see His love through us.
Jesus Mindset Crown Craft:
Create a “Jesus Mindset Crown” at home! Cut out a crown shape from paper or cardboard and write on it words that describe how Jesus thought and acted, like “Humble,” “Loving,” “Kind,” or “Serving.” Decorate it with bright colors and symbols like hearts or crosses. Wear the crown to remind yourself that you want to think and act like Jesus every day. This craft helps kids understand the importance of having the same mindset as Jesus in their relationships with others.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for showing us how to live with humility and love. Help us to think and act like You, always putting others first and showing kindness. Teach us to have Your heart of compassion, and may we share Your love with everyone we meet. Amen.
Keep thinking like Jesus, Faith Force Humble Hearts! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that living like Jesus means choosing humility, love, and kindness every day. Let’s have the mindset of Christ and share His love with everyone around us!
