Greatest Commandment: Loving God with Everything
Verse Of The Day:
"Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’" (Matthew 22:37)
Imagine a treasure chest filled with everything you value most. That’s what God wants us to give Him—our whole heart, soul, and mind! Matthew 22:37 reminds us that the greatest commandment is to love God with every part of who we are.
Loving God means trusting Him, spending time with Him, and letting His love guide our actions. When we give Him our whole selves, we experience His joy and peace in amazing ways.
Let’s make loving God the most important part of our lives, giving Him everything we are!
Heart Treasure Craft:
Create a “Heart Treasure” craft! Draw or cut out a heart and write “Love God with Everything” in the center. Around the heart, write ways to love God, like “Pray,” “Obey,” and “Trust.” Decorate it with bright colors and stars. Hang it up as a reminder to give God your whole heart.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for teaching us to love You with all our heart, soul, and mind. Help us to put You first in everything we do and to live in a way that honors You. Teach us to love others as You have loved us. Amen.
