Hebrews 10:24-25
Meet Together and Spur Each Other On!
Welcome, Faith Force Group Gatherers! Today, we’re learning why meeting together and encouraging each other is so important, as shared in Hebrews 10:24-25.
Verse Of The Day:
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Have you ever noticed how being around other Christians makes you want to do good things? The writer of Hebrews teaches us why meeting together matters!
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” – “spur on” means to motivate, encourage, and get someone excited about doing something! Like a coach firing up the team! We should think about HOW to motivate each other to show love and do good deeds. When we’re together, we should make each other MORE excited about serving God!
But here’s the problem some people have: “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing.” Some people were getting lazy and skipping church or group gatherings. The writer says DON’T do that! Keep meeting together! Why? Because when we meet, we can “encourage one another” – build each other up, motivate each other, and help each other grow stronger!
“And all the more as you see the Day approaching” – as we get closer to Jesus coming back, meeting together becomes EVEN MORE important! We need each other’s encouragement more than ever!
Don’t be the person who gives up meeting with other Christians. Be the person who shows up, encourages others, and helps everyone get fired up about love and good deeds!
My "Spur Them On" Encouragement Plan:
Draw a calendar showing when your group meets (church, youth group, Bible study, etc.). This month, commit to NOT giving up meeting together – go to every gathering! At each meeting, plan ahead how you’ll “spur someone on” – maybe encourage someone who’s discouraged, motivate someone to do a good deed with you, or cheer someone on who’s trying to show love. Track who you spur on each time you meet!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, help us not give up meeting together with other believers! When we're tempted to skip church or group gatherings, remind us how important it is to encourage one another. Show us how to spur each other on toward love and good deeds. Make our gatherings exciting and encouraging! Amen.
Keep meeting together and spurring each other on, Faith Force Group Gatherers! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember not to give up meeting together, but encourage one another more and more!
