God: The Most Reliable Person in the Universe!
Welcome, Faith Force Reliability Testers! Today, we’re learning why God is infinitely more reliable than any human, as shared in Numbers 23:19.
Verse Of The Day:
"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19)
Have you ever had someone promise you something and then change their mind? God is completely different from unreliable humans!
This verse asks four powerful questions that all have the same answer: NO! “God is not human, that he should lie” – God has never told a lie in all of history and never will. “Not a human being, that he should change his mind” – while people change their minds constantly, God’s plans and promises never change.
“Does he speak and then not act?” NO! When God says something, He always follows through. “Does he promise and not fulfill?” Absolutely not! Every single promise God has ever made gets fulfilled perfectly. Unlike humans who lie, change their minds, say things they don’t mean, or break promises, God is 100% reliable, 100% of the time. His track record is absolutely perfect!
God's Promise Reliability Chart:
Take graph paper and create a “God’s Promise Reliability Chart”! Draw a perfectly straight line across the paper labeled “God’s Faithfulness – Never Changes.” Below it, list Bible promises you know and put green check marks next to each one. Create a comparison section showing how humans sometimes break promises (draw a wavy, broken line) versus God’s perfect record (straight line). Add the title “God Never: Lies, Changes His Mind, or Breaks Promises.”
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for being completely reliable and never changing like humans do! Help us trust that You never lie, never change Your mind, and always fulfill every promise You make. When people disappoint us, remind us that You are perfectly faithful and we can always count on You completely. Thank You for Your perfect reliability! Amen.
