Anchor of Hope: God Always Keeps His Promises!
Welcome, Faith Force Promise Keepers! Today, we’re learning to hold tightly to hope because God is completely faithful to His promises, as taught in Hebrews 10:23.
Verse Of The Day:
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." (Hebrews 10:23)
Have you ever wondered if God really keeps all His promises? Hebrews 10:23 gives us the most encouraging answer—God is completely faithful!
This verse teaches us two important truths. First, we should “hold unswervingly to the hope we profess.” This means we should grip tightly to our hope in God’s promises, never letting go or wavering, even when things get difficult! Second, we can do this confidently because “he who promised is faithful.” God has never broken a promise in all of history, and He never will!
How wonderful to know that our hope isn’t in something uncertain, but in the promises of a God who is perfectly faithful! Like an anchor keeps a ship steady in stormy weather, our hope in God’s faithful promises keeps us steady through life’s storms. We can trust completely that what God has promised, He will do.
God Keeps His Promises Anchor:
Create a paper or cardboard anchor and decorate it with bright colors. Write some of God’s promises on paper strips (like “I will never leave you,” “I love you,” “I have good plans for you”) and attach them to your anchor. Display it as a reminder that hope in God’s promises keeps you steady like an anchor!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for being completely faithful to all Your promises! Help us to hold unswervingly to our hope in You, never letting go even when life gets difficult. When we start to doubt or worry, remind us that You have never broken a promise and You never will. Thank You for being our anchor of hope in every storm. Amen.
