Giving God Your Plans: The Path of Trust
Welcome, Faith Force Trust Walkers! Today, we’re learning about giving our plans to God and trusting His guidance, as taught in Psalm 37:5.
Verse Of The Day:
"Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this." (Psalm 37:5)

Have you ever made big plans for something, only to have them change? In Psalm 37:5, we learn about a better way to handle our plans—by giving them to God!
This verse teaches us two important steps. First, we “commit” our way to the Lord. That means we take our plans, dreams, and paths and hand them over to God, saying, “Here, God, You lead the way!” Second, we “trust in Him.” We believe that God knows best and will guide us better than we could guide ourselves.
And what happens when we do these two things? The verse promises that “He will do this.” God will take action in our lives! He’ll work things out in ways that are better than we could imagine. When we let go of controlling everything and trust God’s guidance instead, we can walk through life with peace in our hearts.
Path to God:
Cut out several paper footprints. On each one, write or draw something you’re planning or hoping for. Then create a path with the footprints leading to a door labeled “God’s Care.” This reminds us to commit our ways to God and trust Him with all our plans!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, we commit our ways to You today. Our plans, our dreams, our hopes—we place them all in Your loving hands. Help us to truly trust that Your guidance is best. Thank You for promising to work in our lives when we commit our way to You and trust in You. Amen.
Keep committing your way to God, Faith Force Trust Walkers! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that when we give our plans to God and trust Him, He promises to work everything out!
