Isaiah 61:8
Justice and Fairness: God's Character of Righteousness
Welcome, Faith Force Justice Champions! Today, we’re exploring how God loves justice and hates wrongdoing, as revealed in Isaiah 61:8.
Verse Of The Day:
"For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them." (Isaiah 61:8)

Imagine playing a game where someone keeps changing the rules to win unfairly. It doesn’t feel good, does it? Now imagine playing with someone who always follows the rules and makes sure everyone is treated fairly—that’s much better!
Isaiah 61:8 shows us that God loves justice and fairness. He hates when people steal, cheat, or do wrong things. God is completely fair in everything He does, and He wants us to be fair too!
In this verse, God also makes an amazing promise. Because He is faithful, He will reward His people and make an “everlasting covenant” with them. A covenant is like a special promise that lasts forever. God promises to always be with His people and to bring justice where there is unfairness.
When we see unfair things happening, we can remember that God sees them too, and He cares deeply about making things right. As God’s children, we can follow His example by being fair, honest, and standing up for those who are treated unfairly.
Let’s commit to loving justice like God does, treating others fairly, and trusting that God will keep His promises to us forever!
Justice Scales Craft:
Create simple balance scales using a paper plate, string, and two small paper cups. Decorate the plate with the words “God Loves Justice.” Talk about how the scales stay balanced when things are fair. You can use small objects like beans or buttons to demonstrate balance. Display your scales as a reminder that God loves fairness and justice!
Time For A Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for loving justice and hating wrongdoing. Help us to be fair and honest in everything we do. When we see unfair things happening, give us courage to stand up for what's right. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the everlasting covenant You've made with us. Amen.
Stand for justice, Faith Force Justice Champions! Until our next Divine Dispatch, remember that God loves fairness and keeps His promises forever. Let’s follow His example by being honest and fair in all we do.
