Strength to Overcome: Trusting God’s Help in Temptation
Verse Of The Day:
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Imagine standing in front of a fork in the road, where one path looks easy but leads to trouble, and the other is harder but leads to something good. That’s what temptation feels like! 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that everyone faces temptations, but God is always faithful to help us make the right choice.
God never lets us face more than we can handle, and He always provides a way out when we’re tempted. It might be a friend reminding us to make a good choice, a Bible verse that encourages us, or the courage to walk away. No matter what, God is with us, helping us choose what’s right.
When we trust God’s strength and look for His “way out,” we grow stronger and more faithful. Let’s remember that with God’s help, we can stand firm and overcome any temptation that comes our way!
Path to Victory Craft:
Create a “Path to Victory” at home! Draw a forked path with one side labeled “Wrong Choice” and the other labeled “God’s Way.” Write things on the “God’s Way” path like “Pray,” “Ask for Help,” or “Remember God’s Word.” Decorate the path with arrows and bright colors to represent God’s guidance. Hang it up to remind yourself that God always provides a way to choose what’s right. This craft helps kids visualize how God helps them overcome temptation.

Dear God, thank You for always being with us when we face temptations. Help us to trust You and look for Your way out when we feel tempted. Give us the strength to make good choices and the courage to follow Your guidance. May we always remember that You are faithful and will never leave us to face challenges alone. Amen.
