Laying Down Our Lives: Sacrificial Love
Verse Of The Day:
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." (1 John 3:16)
Imagine giving your all to help someone else—that’s what Jesus did for us. He laid down His life to show His incredible love. 1 John 3:16 teaches us that real love means putting others first, even when it’s hard.
Laying down our lives doesn’t always mean big sacrifices—it can be small acts of love, like sharing, helping, or comforting someone. When we choose to love like Jesus, we make a difference in people’s lives and show them His amazing love.
Love Hands Craft:
Trace and cut out hand shapes. On each hand, write ways to show love, like “Share,” “Help,” or “Comfort.” Decorate them and display them to inspire acts of love.
Time For A Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for showing us the ultimate love by laying down Your life for us. Help us to follow Your example and love others sacrificially every day. Amen.
